There is nothing better than a sizzling hot chili, curry or spicy soup as the temperatures begin to dip and autumn comes home to roost in Calasparra.
This week on Friday´s market the ecological vegetable stall has sun dried red chilies and freshly picked red chilies on offer as well as long green fresh chilies for conserving in vinegar or oil.
Also on offer are carrots, aubergines, green peppers, spinach, Swiss Chard and beetroot.
Novelties include fresh, white haricot beans which are typical of the Murcia region and pumpkin sold by the slice to make warming soups or delicious sweets.
The stall is on the corner outside the Sangui supermarket and boasts the cheapest prices on the market for the best quality freshly picked produce.
