The Parents Association of the IES Emilio Pérez Piñero High School called a third strike day yesterday to protest against cuts in education.
According to the Head of Studies at the school some 86% of students answered the call to strike although in the first and second year was the percentage was nearer 32%.
The strike was called on Tuesday but participation during the first two days was patchy. However, a large protest banner against the cuts was raised.
In the primary schools very few pupils stayed at home in protest.
