Rain on the Friday market is becoming something of a tradition here in Calasparra this autumn but the ecological vegetable stall will brave the elements and bring you freshly picked, organic produce as usual.
This week we have green olives, perfect for preserving in salt for eating throughout the year, and hot, hot, chili peppers for those warming winter curries and sauces.
We will also have lettuces, beetroot, Swiss Chard, spinach, carrots, aubergines, courgettes and marrows, local fresh, haricot beans and green peppers.
The stall is on the corner outside the Sangui Supermarket and produce sells quickly these days due to the rock bottom prices. Shoppers are advised to shop early to avoid disappointment.
