Unfortunately, the weather forecast is for rain for most of Easter Sunday Morning and the Easter Processions have been cancelled.
The Committee of the religious brotherhoods of Calasparra announced the decision a few minutes ago.
All over Spain Easter has been virtually cancelled as torrential rain and winds have ripped through the mainland. So far Calasparra had been spared the worst of it but that has changed this morning as the rain is likely to continue until at least lunchtime.
However, with an extreme drought having been declared in the Murcia region, it is not all bad news.
