Anyone wanting to compete in the race around the Sanctuary or take part in the walking route only has until 8pm on Thursday November 5 to sign on.
The «Vuelta del Santuario,» that includes a 14k competitive run and a walk along the same route, is organised by Blade Runners of Calasparra with Calasparra Town Hall. The race is included in the Ligas Running Región de Murcia (Regional Running League), organized by FAMU – the Regional Athletics Federation.
These events will be held on Sunday November 6. The start and finish is in the Plaza Emilio Pérez Piñero (La Cúpula).
The walking route starts at 9am
The Competitive Race starts at 10.30am
The Children’s Event starts at 12 midday.
The entire race is 14 k on asphalt along the Segura river, the rice fields, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope, the Viveros Camping and the town of Calasparra.
Over the last 10 years it has become mythical route for the most courageous runners.
