Residents, associatons, organizations and businesses paid homage to the patron saints of Calasparra, St Abdón and Senén, during the annual fiestas by bringing floral offerings to the Saints Church.
Residents in regional traditional dress formed part of the procession and the OAPs music and dance group performed during the Harvest Festival mass.
As is traditional at this time of year the King and Queen, senior and junior, were proclaimed at the end of the mass although this year the title of King Senior was reserved. Virginia Ruiz was elected Queen and the elected from the juniors were Carmen María Sánchez and Javier Martínez.
