The trial flights at the new Corvera airport have been completed with “satisfactory results” according to the regional Department of Public Works.
Trials were carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday and included take offs, landings and various other maneuvers under radio control.
The authorities have also reached a new agreement on the new air corridor for commercial traffic.
Members of the Academy at San Javier, the air base at Alcantarilla, representatives of the Department of Public Works and the airport authority, AENA took part in these technical meetings which should pave the way for the opening of the new airport.
