Calasparra Town Hall, through the local Department of Diversity, has organised a special day to celebrate Pride Day, lgtbig 
, on Saturday June 28 from 11.30am in the Casa de la Cultura.
This initiative, forming part of the policies to promote equality, inclusion and respect on the part of the Town Hall, aims to increase visibility, raise awareness and defend the rights of the lgtbig community as well as underlining a firm commitment to fight against discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

The day will begin by reading the lgtbig Manifesto, a symbolic act with great vindicative value that aims to give a voice to the local lgtbig community, highlight their realities and recognizes the dignity and rights that support an equality as citizens.
Folowing the Manifesto the documentary, «A Home without Wardrobes,» will be shown. The documentary is an audiovisual character testimony with real life stories from members of the lgtbig community that invites a reflection on the importance of constructing family settings, social and institutional, free from prejudice, violence and discrimination.
The documentary will be presented by members of the lgtbig community and there will be time afterwards for dialogue and reflection among those atttending the event.
