A new entry on the calendar of the Rice Routes Programme of organised walks is the Horseback Route from the Rice Fields to the Sanctuary held on Sunday.
This activity highlights the importance of bio-diversity, the natural patrimony of Calasparra and the tradition of cultivating rice that dates back to 1908.
