THE BIG FREEZE ARRIVES IN THE REGION OF MURCIA

This morning the Murcia region awaoke to a blanket of fog and the Met Office have issued a Yellow Weather warning for snow in the North West Area (which includes Calasparra).
At least two centimetres of snow is expected  in the next 24 hours in areas of over 1000 metres above sea level (includes areas of Caravaca and Moratalla).
The weather alert starts from 6pm today, Monday, and lasts until 5am tomorrow morning.
Moreover, the National Plan of Preventative Actions against the Effects of Low Temperatures has been activated at Risk Level 2, advising that in the next few days temperatures in the region may fall to 3.3 below zero.
The Met Office predicts cloudy spells and morning fog and possible showers today with temperatures falling and light frosts this evening.
The low temperatures, morning fog, frosts and the possibility of rain or snow showers are predicted for the remainder of the week.
