The early evening prograame on Spanish TVE, «Aquí la Tierra», which features agricultural and gastronomic products in different regions of Spain, will run a special programme on Calasparra Rice.
The chef/owner of the Bar Centro Restaurant, Esperanza Ruiz, recently recognised as an ambassador for the local grain, is featured cooking live in natural surroundings with one of the programme´s journalists.
The programme, which was filmed over seven months in the local area, includes a visit to the local Rice Cooperative and the rice fields and discusses the value of the different varieties such as Bomba and Balilla X Sollana.
As of today no date for the programme has been published.
