The Red Cross are putting a vehicle at the disposition of anyone over 65 years to transport them to a medical appointment, an adminstrative matter etc.
This nine seater vehicle, adapted for those with reduced mobility, must be ordered in advance, and is also available to associations, collectives and groups of local residents.
This service forms part of the «Enrédate» project (Get Involved) in collaboration with Calasparra Town Hall, which aims to combat the loneliness of residents over 65 years old.
This service must be booked in advance by phoning 677174741.
Calasparra Town Hall and the Red Cross have signed an agreement to collaborate in the Plan Against Solitude, (Plan Contra la Soledad), which the Town Hall initiated by organizing workshops destined for people over 65 years in the town. These activities take place every Wednesday morning in the Espacio Joven Casa de la Juventud (Youth Centre).
