The Queso al Vino DOP from local cheese Factory, Villa Vieja, has won the silver medal at the Gourmet Cheese Awards.
The cheese has been judged, against 90 others, as the second best cheese in Spain in the “Cheese from Young Goats” category.
The award forms part of the Salón Gourmet Food Show currently being held in Madrid.
