Awareness raising activities in local schools and the installation of a violet coloured bow on the facade of the Town Hall will form part of this year´s activities to mark the World Day Against Domestic Violence.
The Head of the Equality Department, Mari Carmen López Alba, with Francisco Javier Sandoval, of ADINOR, presented the programme on Radio Calasparra today, Wednesday.
On Saturday at 12 midday there will be a demonstration in the Plaza de la Corredera, including the reading of a manifesto, and a violet bow, the symbol of the fight against domestic violence, will be erected on the facade of the Town Hall.
