PRISON FOR RIPPING OFF LOCAL COOP

The Fiscal is demanding five years imprisonment, a fine of nearly 4,500€ and compensation of over 150,000€ for two men who swindled the local Cooperative in 2013.
The two men Salvatore D’A. and Manuel G.M, allegedly ordered fruit valued at 170,000 euros from the Cooperative Agra in Calasparra, emitted the corresponding invoices but then failed to pay.
Appearing before the Provincial Audience in Murcia the two men are accused of  committing the offences between July and August 2013.
According to the Fiscal, Manuel G.M. used his company to carry out the fraud, Citricos Royal 2000, “at the orders of the other accused,” who was the administrator of the Gigax Society.
They face a five year prison sentence, a fine of 4,380 euros and compensation, claimed by the Cooperative, of 170,000 euros.
