On Monday, during the electricity blackout, Calasparra Town Hall provided the Medical Centre with two generators in order to assist patients in emergency situations, such as those using oxygen at home.
The Town Hall also set up an emergency recharging service for oxygen at the Municipal Services Department.
Readers are reminded that in case of any emergency the 112 emergency service is available 24 hours a day and accomodates different languages.
Unfortunately, Nexonr was unable to provide this particular information during the blackout as our internet was down until later on Monday night. However, as a standard procedure in case a power failure which means you can´t access your medicine/oxygen at home first call is the Medical Centre. However if you can´t get to the Medical Centre or if there is any risk to health or life readers should use the 112 emergency service.
