The National Police have arrested a man in Calasparra for fraud, sexual aggression and identity theft of a police officer.
The 49 year old has allegedly used a false badge of the Ministry of the Interior (the equivalent of Home Office) in order to pass as a police officer, contact women with irregular immigration status and offer to regulate their situation in exchange for money.
One of the victims has reported paying 1,800 euros without receiving any response and also reports being victim of «sexual touching» against her will.
Subsequent investigations have found two other women who report similar experiences.
The arrest was made in Calasparra and the detainee has appeared before magistates in Caravaca.
