The Marea Blanca pressure group, which fights for more medical staff for Calasparrra, has already obtained more than 1,000 signatures on a petition demanding more medical staff at the local Emergency Department.
Marea Blanca collected the signatures at the local market on Friday when shoppers queued to sign up.
