The latest round of price rises in the tobacco industry, following the increase in state taxes on June 28, comes from British American Tobacco (BAT) as the cost of 20 Lucky Strike and Pall Mall go up by 10 cents.
Lucky Stike will cost 4.35 euros and Pall Mall 4.20 euros from next Thursday.
“Premium” tobacco, Vogue, Rothmans, Prince and Kool will cost 4.75 euros, a rise of 10 cents, and Golden America will go up by 15 cents to 3.95 euros.
Last week Altadis increased Ducados, Fortuna and Nobel by 10 cents; Phillip Morris added 10 cents to the price of Marlboro, L&M and Chestefield; and JTI added 10 cents to Winston and Camel.
