The Town Hall has announced a minute´s silence at 11am today, Friday, in the Plaza de la Corredera in memory of the 80 fatalities and 140 seriously injured in the worse train crash in Spain for 40 years.
Last night at the Full Council Meeting a minute´s silence was observed.
The Spanish Government has announced three days of national mourning.
The crash happened on Wednesday evening at around 8pm in Santiago de Compostela.
