The local theatre club and the Reading club are planning to mark the anniversary of the death of the poet, Federico Lorca, by holding a poetry reading on the same day as he died 75 years ago.
The homage to Lorca will be held in the Casa de Cultura on August 19 at 9pm and anyone wishing to read one of the poet´s works is invited to attend.
Lorca was killed on Franco´s orders on August 19, 1936 in the area between Víznar and Alfacar in Granada.
