There will be a special harvest festival mass at the Church of the local Patron Saints Abdón and Sénen at 8pm on October 26.
However, in a break with tradition the brotherhood of the local Patron Saints has decided not to elect the “Farmer of the Year.”
Someone connected to the Brotherhood will be chosen to replace the grapes in the hands of the Saints. The name will be announced at the mass.
