The iniTIative, «Applícate: Sube, conecta y aprende» (Apply: Upload, connect and learn) is coming to Calasparra between May 26 and May 29 and it is free oF charge.
Yesterday the Town Hall presented this project: a mobile unit of new technologies for all the citizens of Murcia.
This free educational programme is moving around the region and aims to train 18,000 people in 45 municipal areas in basic digital competence.
The iniTIative, «Applícate: Sube, conecta y aprende» (Apply: Upload, connect and learn) is coming to Calasparra between May 26 and May 29 and it is free oF charge.
Yesterday the Town Hall presented this project: a mobile unit of new technologies for all the citizens of Murcia.
This free educational programme is moving around the region and aims to train 18,000 people in 45 municipal areas in basic digital competence.
Between May 26 to 29 this mobile proejct will be based opposite the Plaza Emilio Pérez Piñero, offering free training in basic digital abilities and advanced.
The courses are principally directed at elderly people and the unemployed with a commitment to train 50% women, but may benefit anyone interested.
Students can learn basic digital competence such as carrying out basic adminastrative matters, buying online safely, navigating the Internet and getting familiar with the dangers of the Internet.
The vehicle will be installed infront of the square and the space will be divided into a conventional schoolroom equipped with personal computers and another area of virtual reality and interactive games.
Anyone interested can sign on free of charge on tel: 621 411 172, or by email at applicatemurcia@gmail.es, or by simply coming to the mobile unit to take part in the courses.
