Most Nexonr readers have already adopted a dog or two in Calasparra, unable to bear the idea of them roaming, starving on the streets.
Now the local animal welfare group, Dogs Rescue, which rounds up strays and looks after them in a compound in La Florida, is launching a campaign not to buy a dog for Christmas but to adopt one:
As some neighbours will vouch for, the pound at Dogs Rescue is bursting at the seams with animals seeking homes for life.
Nexonr seeks to support this campaign and urge those who can or who want to, to adopt one of the dogs waiting to be a life companion and make it a Merry Christmas for all the family!!
