CONSUMER ASSOCIATION REPORTS ILLEGAL PRACTICES BY RYANAIR

The Murcian Association of Consumers and Service Users (Consumur) has reported that the 50€ charged by Ryanair for embarkation with a laptop, camera, food or drink, newspapers or articles bought in the airport shops or outside are “illegal practices.”
Consumur is the second consumer organization to denounce these practices and joins the action taken against Ryanair by FACUA, Consumers in Action, by reporting these “abusive clauses” to the State Security Agency, the Ministry of Promotion and the National Competition Commission.
Consumur says “abusive clauses limit the rights of passengers and contravene the air navigation laws.”
Any passenger of Ryanair at San Javier subjected to these practices are reminded they can seek assistance from Consumur on 968 22 30 82 or at their offices.
