As the new summer vegetables mature in our ecological garden we are introducing a news service to aid understanding and integration between the host Spanish community and British residents.
From this Friday we will be distributing free bilingual recipes to our customers using our fresh vegetables as the main ingredients. In this way customers can make the most of the seasonal vegetables, which are cheaper, as well as try out some new ideas for meals and snacks.
This week, in response to demand by our Spanish customers, we have included a recipe for the delicious but simple Cauliflower Cheese, and a Spanish recipe using cauliflower and salt cod fish.
Apart from cauliflower we have a range of different lettuces on offer this week, spring onions, celery, Swiss chard, spinach, parsnips and turnips all at rock bottom prices and freshly picked on the morning of the market.
Shortly we will be able to offer tomatoes and cucumber which are coming on nicely in our green house.
