Christmas is a time for giving and solidarity is the middle name of Calasparra as groups and associations organize events to ensure every child has a toy and every family has food during this festive season.
On Saturday December 24 at 11.30 in central town there will be a special Christmas collection for doantions of toys, non perishable food and hygiene products.
For every kilo donated one euro will be given to the cancer research charity, Calasparra Se Mueve.
