Visitors from the UK will need proof of an official PCR test 72 hours before arrival in Spain
or proof they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 from this Thursday.
This Government announcement follows the UK placing the Balearic Islands on the “Green list” and the increase in the number of cases of the virus in the UK (more than 150 per 100,000 of the population in the last 14 days).
It also follows a major outbreak of the virus in Mallorca, the principal destination of UK tourists, involving more than 700 students visiting the island from eight different regions of Spain to celebrate the end of term.
