These measure mainly affect private transport with up to nine seats and are in effect from June 27.
In private vehicles of more than nine seats with people from the same household all seats may be occupied. The seat next to the driver must remain empty.
If occupants are from different household two rows of seats may be used.
Vehicles with only two rows of seats (vans or lorries), if occupants are not from the same household, a maximum of two people may travel, maintaining the maximum distance between them.
In a five seater car four people who do not live together may travel.
In all private transport if anyone traveling is from a different household everyone must wear masks. The vehicle must aired by opening windows or by air con. And the maximum distance between passengers should be maintained.
