The bilingual recipes on the ecological stall on Friday´s market have proved so popular with our customers we have decided to offer a different one every week. There will be local recipes and new culinary ideas using seasonal vegetables and fruit available on our stall.
As the temperatures soar in Calasparra some spring vegetables are struggling to survive the heat but we still have some lettuces, celery, cauliflowers, broccoli, spring onions, spinach and carrots. We also have some red cabbage and this week the first of the apricots and “nisperas” (small sweet fruit) are ready for sale.
