The heatwave in the UK may have dissolved into rain today but in Calasparra temperatures are on the rise and are likely to reach more than 40 degrees centigrade by the middle of next week.
August has arrived and we can expect two weeks of almost unbroken sunshine with minimums this week between 19 and 21 degrees rising to an average of 21 degrees next week.
Hot nights and temperatures already in the early 20´s by 8am the thermometer will gradually rise this week through the high 30´s reaching a sticky 41 degrees by next Thursday.
Although there is a possibility of rain next Friday temperaturas are likely to remain high.
Please heed advice on the high temperatures and take care in the sun. Avoid taking exercise or walking any distance during the hottest times in the middle of the day and if you do go out use barrier sun cream, wear loose clothing, sunglasses and a hat. Avoid heavy meals and alcohol and sunbathe sensibly.
