If you are aged between 50 and 89 years old and are resident in Calasparra you should have received a letter with an appointment for a mammogram at the mobile unit which will be in the town between January 26 and February 4.
If you don´t receive a letter by Janaury 25 you are asked to go the Health Centre and ask for information.
Every women between these ages should have a mammogram every two years as a early cancer detection measure. The process is painless and facilitates the early detection of tumors which can then be treated.
