Calasparrian, 13 year old Clara Gomez, member of the Municipal Canoe Club, has bee named the most promising rower in the Murcia region by the regional Federation of Canoeists.
She will receive her honour next Saturday at the annual gala of the Federation.
White water canoeing is currently experiencing one of the its best moments in its history and 2015 was the most successful season for Murcian canoeists who brought home a harvest of trophies and medals.
This week Calasparra Canoe Club will also receive a prize as the third best club in Spain for promising juniors.
