The religious fiesta to mark the “immaculate conception” fell on Sunday December 8 this year, that is yesterday. However, not to be done out of a day of fiesta the celebrations have been moved to today.
Most shops and shopping centres are closed today although, because it so near Christmas, there will inevitably be some exceptions. To avoid disappointment check before you leave!!
The Met Office predicts that the sun may come out after lunch today but it will feel cold with daytime temperatures of around 16 degrees which may fall to below zero tonight.
