A friendly match and friends from the past for the veterans of Calasparra FC on Sunday at the Caverina Municipal Stadium.
Before the traditional friendly match with Almeria the veterans paid homage to Calasparrians who, over the years, have made a major contribution to football in the town. They were Gabriel Pérez Salinas, Isidoro García López, el Puli; Francisco Valero Belda, el Minero; Manuel García, el Birloto; Cosme Espín Hermosilla and Pancho.
The team also played 100 children from the local football school in a game that finished 4 – 1.
Next Sunday the veterans play away to Getafe.
