Members of the European Union living in Calasparra applying for residency in Spain or renewing their existing residency documents must go to the Yecla Extranjeria and not Murcia.
However, if you are applying for a new NIE number you need to go to the Extranjeria in Murcia.
If you are applying for residency or renewing existing residency you can download the form (EX18) from the Internet. You will need to fill it in, sign it and make a copy. Take both copies to the Yecla Extranjeria.
To find the form simply type the number of the form into your search engine or go to the “Yecla Extranjeria” where you will find the form; the address of the office, and the office opening times.
There are also additional documents you now to take to apply or renew your residency. The full list of requirements is as follows:
A recent colour passport photo with a white background.
A current passport or national identity document. If it has expired you will need a copy of the original and a copy of your application for renewal.
Documentation proving you have sufficient economic resources to support you and your family during your stay in Spain. Pensioners should take proof of pension.
Proof of private or public medical insurance which provides cover in Spain. Pensioners comply with this rule if they have a current medical card.
All documents in a foreign language must be translated and “legalized” by the Consulate. (in the case of UK citizens by the British Consulate).
