Yesterday, Monday October 12, was the National Day of Spain and coincided with the Fiesta of the Patron of the Guardia Civil, «the Virgin de Pilar.»
A ceremony in the Merced Church in Calasparra was attended by Sgt Saul Menchen of the Guardia Civil of Calasparra; the Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia; members of the local government team and the municipal corporation; the Head of the Local Police, Miguel Ángel Martínez; the Justice of the Peace, Antonia Esperanza Moya; the President of the «Mayordomia», Juana Dolores García; the Coordinator of the Civil Protection, Cesar Reales; as well as representatives of different entities and local associations.
