The callous cruelty of some people beggars belief!!
These three little treasures were put into a rubbish bag and hit on the head with stone to kill them, according to the witness that rescued them and took them to the magnificent local voluntary association, Dogs Rescue Calasparra, that takes responsibility for abandoned and ill treated animals where others fail.
It was during the Spain/Portugal World Cup Match that Dogs Rescue Calasparra were saving the lives of these defenceless puppies left to die.
Now safe and sound in the Dogs Rescue Refuge they join the rest of the animals abandoned/ill treated or both, in Calasparra, that fill to over capacity the installations available to this charity.
Every abandon carries a financial cost for Dogs Rescue, which is totally dependent on donations to pay for emergency veterinary treatment, medicines and injections plus food and piensas for all their charges.
