The Town Hall marked International Women´s Day yesterday, March 8, with an emotional act in the Plaza de la Corrderera and a pledge to the women of Calasparra.

The commemoration of International Women´s Day in Calasparra was an affirmation of effective and genuine equality between men and women.

Pupils from all the local schools took part in the event and created a wall of equality supporting women in our society and expressing their support and recognition for their contribution and giving visibility to their fight for true equality.
