If you spend 25 euros in a participating local shop you will get a discount voucher of 10 euros as part of the scheme designed to promote shopping locally.
The scheme is half funded by Calasparra Town Hall and half funded by CARM and has been launched after petitions by the local Chamber of Commerce.
Cllr Antonio Merino, Head of the local Housing Department and the Department of Commerce and Consumer, said that the discount vouchers aim to help reactivate shopping locally after the crisis generated by Covid-19.
The scheme will run from November 4 to 30.
During the presentation at the Town Hall Cllr Merino said the Town Hall had met with the Chamber of Commerce on several occasions and the result was this discount scheme, the second introduced this year.
