Anyone with a “padrón” has the right to vote for or against the pedestrianization of the Plaza de la Corredera and the first part of the Avenida I de Mayo (Gran Via) in a ballot organised by the Town Hall.
This is a chance to take an active part in the local decision making and have your say.
You may feel that children in the playground, waiters in the bars and elderly people would be safer if this area was traffic free and that all Calasparrians would benefit from a central area without traffic noise and pollution.
Or you may feel it is more important for cars to move freely across this area.
You can vote online, by downloading the app at “El Buzón Cuidadano” or manually in the ballot boxes in the Plaza de la Corredera.
Anyone with a “padrón” who is over 18 years can vote. You will need your DNI, Passport or Residence Card to participate.
Voting online will be from November 3 to 2pm on November 9.
There will be two ballot boxes in the Plaza de la Corredera on November 10 from 9am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm.
