The Club, Blade Runners Calasparra, in collaboration with the local Sports Department, and FAMU, are organising a 14k run around the Sanctuary on Sunday, November 5.
The “ III Vuelta al Santuario Virgen de la Esperanza de Calasparra” forms part of the Running Challenge calendar 2017/18. The walkers route starts at 9am and the running challenge begins at 10am. The junior race starts at 12 midday.The start and finish is in the Gran Via.

Entry for runners is 12 euros, 10 euros for FAMU athletes; walkers entry is 12 euros and the junior race costs 3 euros.
There will be trophies for the first three finishers as well as for the first three local runners and for the veterans.
Centro Odontológico José María “El practicante”, has donated 300€ for special prize going to the runner that beats the record of 47:59 set by Khalid Massk and Priegofont has donated 300€ for the female runner who beats the record 1:04:20 set by Maria Jesús Delgado.
The Sanctuary Restaurant offers a prize of a meal for two to the first male and first fermale who pass the 7km point, which is situated at the restaurant.
There are already 300 competitors signed up for the challenge.
