No agreement has been reached between the regional government and workers at the ITV stations in the region and an indefinite strike has been called from Thursday at Alcantarilla, Cartagena, Caravaca de la Cruz, San Pedro del Pinatar, Molina de Segura, Lorca and Jumilla.
From Thursday there will be a maximum of one mechanic on each line and waiting times are expected to be, on average, two hours.
Workers are protesting against the privatization of the service which, they claim, could mean job losses and a deterioration in the quality of service provided.
