The Local Police have issued an appeal for citizens to keep public areas clean by feeding animals in an hygienic manner that respects the environment.
«Feeding animals is a sensitive gesture but doing it by leaving food directly on the ground, especially in areas near schools, causes problems with hygiene and health.»
The Local Police appeal to residents to be responsible and civic: help animals: Yes! but always in an adequate manner: hygienic and respecting your surroundings.
Leaving food on public roads carries fines.
