The Roman ruins discovered in the heart of the popular Archena Thermal Baths will be open to the public from today until September 29:
There will be guided tours, called “Travel to the Stars of Rome,” to explain how the historic baths were used during Roman times.
The site will be open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and the visits will be divided into two parts: a tour of the Roman ruins where visitors can see the rest of the antique hotel, the complex and the rooms where the Romans enjoyed the waters. There is also a new exhibition of the relics discovered during the dig.
The second part of the tour, for night visitors only, includes observing the night sky to identify the same planets and constellations viewed by the Romans.
