Music, concerts, theatre and tradition are all on the menu this Christmas in Calasparra as the Town Hall presents a full Christmas programme with something for everyone.
For the little ones there will be handicraft workshops, games and cooking to occupy them during the long mornings of the holidays. Plus popular games in the streets, a visit from Father Christmas and the spectacular Procession of the Magic Kings with music, dancing and cartoon characters.
In Calasparra the model nativity scenes are a great tradition and most shops and businesses and many private houses have their own crypts, many of which are entered into an annual competition. However, the high spot of the tradition is the Municipal Nativity Scene, open to the public during the festivities from December 23 at 7pm. (See opening times in full programme below).
Eating and drinking are an essential part of most people´s Christmas and in Calasparra there will be plenty of sweets and cakes and traditional food to taste. See below for full details.
