AEMET, the Met Office, have issued a Yellow Weather Warning for today, June 3, for storms in the Murcia region.
The warning covers North West Murcia, an area that includes Calasparra.
Storms are predicted for this afternoon and evening from 4pm to 11pm with a probability of 40 to 70%.
Although the warning is level Yellow the AEMET warns that showers may be of a superior intensity.
Readers are advised to take the usual precautions and avoid travelling if possible.
