The religious brotherhood, Real Cofradía de San Juan Evangelista and la Dolorosa, celebrates its annual cultural week in December and this is the full programme of events:
Saturday December 13
8pm Casa de la Cultura. Inauguration of the Cultural Week with a presentation by Joaquín Trujillo Ponce on nativities and crypts.
Inauguration of an exhibition of popular model crypts. Open from December 13 to 23.
Monday December 15
7.30pm Municipal Auditorium. Traditional Concert of Christmas music
Friday December 19
8pm Sala del Comendador. Inauguration of an Exhibition of Sculpure by the local artist, Juan José Páez Álvarez. Open from December 19 to 30.
Saturday December 20
11.30am Plaza de la Corredera. Popular Games and Inflatables for the little ones
Charity collection of non perishable food ítems for Caritas.
Sunday December 21
11am. Plaza de Abastos Car Park. Exhibition of antique vehicles.
Tuesday December 27
Fiesta of St John the Baptist
8pm Special mass with the new parish priest, José Manuel Martínez Rosique, in St Peter´s Church
