Amidst the usual array of conspiracy theories there is now, apparently, an explanation for the Internet blackout in Calasparra on Monday afternoon.
According to a source, workmen, carrying out repairs under the main Caravaca road at Cañada accidentally cut through a cable which brings the Internet to our area.
The same source confirms that the majority of the Internet in Calasparra is by cable and not by satellite.
The Internet was restored around 8pm.
