WHO CAN VOTE IN THE LOCAL ELECTIONS?

If you are a UK citizen and have been resident in Spain for more than three years you can vote in local elections.
Since Brexit your right to vote in regional, national and EU elections has been withdrawn.
In order to vote in municipal elections you must have a “padron” (a document which confirms you are residing in the area).
You must also register on the electoral register within the dates set by your local Town Hall. (Usually a set period before the elections)
You may also stand as a candidate.
